At International Academy, our full specialty program is a balanced program of skin care, hair removal, spa training, nail technology, and more! Our Full Specialty Training

We developed our full specialty program with an emphasis on spa techniques. It is our hope that by the time you graduate, you feel prepared to enter a spa setting. Our program is broken up into three sections:

Skin Care/Hair Removal/Spa Training: Dive into the world of skincare by learning the latest techniques spa specialists are using. During this section, you can learn hair removal, skin theory, product chemistry, and more!

Nail Technology: Learn the art of nails with our nail technology section. During this portion, you’ll learn more than just manicures and pedicures. You can also learn sculpting, gel nails, and fill-ins, all so you can gain a good foundation for nails.

Facial Beauty Amplifications: During our facial beauty sections, you can learn all about makeup application, such as brow shaping, eyelash extensions, and microblading!

Facial Beauty Amplifications

While our microblading and eyelash students don’t receive a kit, we do provide them with supplies needed for training. You’ll receive a textbook for learning the subject matter, but supplies needed for technical, hands-on practice are provided by the school. This includes:

Program FAQs

What schedules are available for this program?

Full-time Days: 30 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Part-time Days: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Part-time Nights: Minimum of 20 hours per week, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

How Long is Your Full Speciality (Skin, Nails & Spa) Program?

Our program is 600 hours. Meaning you can become a licensed Spa and Hair Removal Specialist in as little as 7 months!

Can I receive my license outside of Florida?

Each state has different requirements for a full specialist license, and licenses may require additional work to transfer. You can complete any additional hours that may be required at International Academy for no additional cost! Ask an admissions advisor for details.

Before applying, it is important to note that students who apply must need the following requirements:

  • All applicants must be beyond the age of compulsory education which is sixteen (16) years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
