I have owned my spa and salon for 13 years in Florida. I was introduced to International Academy one year ago. During that time I have hired four graduates of the Academy. In my 18 years of experience in the beauty industry, I have found that the graduates of the International Academy demonstrate a superior knowledge of technical skills and a solid foundation of professionalism. I am proud to say that the International Academy has set a higher standard of learning for the beauty industry. Whenever I have an open position in my spa, I call the administrators at the International Academy for a referral of recent graduates. Of the interviews I’ve conducted with International’s graduates, I’ve hired every one of them. They have proven to be some of the best in the industry.

. . . I began working in the field of beautification as a professional licensed Barber three years ago. This is the job for me, I've grown a clientele that is similar to my viewpoints, humor, and generally good people that you want to surround yourself with. This has by far been the best decision of my life professionally for my mental health, financial security, and general happiness. I never saw it coming and couldn't be happier for it.

Hair has always been a great passion of mine, and when I knew cosmetology was the career I wanted to pursue, I looked long and hard for a loyal school. I found the perfect one, International Academy! So, I packed up my bags from Chicago and moved down to Florida. I learned great skills in coloring and cutting and had lots of feed back from all of the great, knowledgeable teachers. I have now been doing hair for 5 years and am having great success!

I am now the proud owner of Serenity Salon & Spa an 1800 square foot facility in St. Augustine, Florida. I really owe all of this to International Academy for giving me the education that allowed me to make this dream come true.
