. . . After many years as a practicing lawyer and not yet ready to retire, I decided to re-visit the skincare business. Being an active octogenarian I enrolled at the International Academy, a private school, graduated, and obtained my state license as an esthetician. IA is a fabulous school, providing interesting classes, patient teachers, and an overall pleasant [experience]. I have been actively working in a salon in Florida and loving every minute of it. Who says you can’t learn a new skill and start a new career at 80!

Its about the journey…I graduated from Intl Academy with a strong foundation in cosmetology as a stylist and an educator now over 10years. I am proud to help cultivate and inspire the beauty within us all and visually express it to the world.

After graduating from Intl Academy I went out into the real world of with such confidence and was ready for anything had to offer me. I started with Hair Cuttery and in 6 months became the manager.
