Instructor Spotlight: Meet Elle Guerra, Bringing 40+ Years of Beauty Experience to the Classroom 

When you’ve spent more than four decades in the beauty industry, you have more than techniques to teach—you have stories, real-world experience, and plenty of wisdom to share. 

Meet Elle Guerra, a Nail Instructor at International Academy whose passion for beauty has been going strong for more than 40 years! 

A Beauty Career Built on Experience

Elle’s journey in the beauty industry has allowed her to experience it from many different angles. She is a licensed esthetician, cosmetologist, and nail technician, giving her a well-rounded background and a wealth of beauty knowledge to bring into the classroom. 

Nails, however, have played an especially important role in her career. 

Elle spent 15 years owning and operating a successful nail salon, gaining firsthand experience in nail services, working with clients, running a business, and building a career in the industry. 

Today, she brings that real-world experience into the classroom as a Nail Instructor at International Academy. 

From Nail Salon Owner to Nail Instructor

After years of working in the beauty industry and running her own nail salon, Elle found another way to share her passion: teaching. 

As a Nail Instructor, she enjoys sharing the skills, knowledge, and lessons she has gained throughout her career with the next generation of nail professionals. 

Her experience allows her to bring more than technique to the classroom. She can share what it’s really like to work with clients, build professional relationships, and experience the day-to-day world of the nail industry. 

Beauty, Fitness & A Little Latin Dancing 

Elle’s energy doesn’t end when class is over! 

When she’s not teaching, she enjoys staying active through fitness and yoga. And when it’s time to have some fun, you may find her Latin dancing with her husband. 

With more than 40 years in beauty, 15 years as a nail salon owner, and a passion for sharing what she’s learned, Elle brings a special combination of industry experience and personality to International Academy.
